Upon the successful completion of Phase 1, the resulting standards-based Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concept model will be the foundation of the key enabling technologies of an Enterprise Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with a Web Service Business Process Execution Language (WS-BPEL) orchestration engine to coordinate business process integration, execution, and information exchange. Benefits: The Spalding-proposed intelligent iALE technologies and international industry standards will support the plug-and-play goals of an integrated, dynamic ALE that will accommodate both legacy applications and new standards-compliant iALE business processes and services. Additional benefits of the iALE architecture will be the ability of the ESB and BPEL to support enterprise operations within a distributed Fleet and expeditionary environment. Spalding's marketing strategy includes the development of standards-based middleware products to offer for purchase/license to other aviation-oriented government and private entities, and also intends to offer professional services to improve, design, develop, implement, and sustain iALE solutions for these entities.
