Abstract: Chesapeake Technology International's (CTI's) proposed solution for the "Expeditionary Cyber Network (X Net)" SBIR program is to leverage an existing CTI product capability named INVADER (Intelligence Video, Audio, and Data Environment). INVADER is a small, light-weight, rugged, tactical, embedded computer that was developed through internal research and development for exactly the type of application and environment described in this SBIR. CTI has already demonstrated the INVADER capability using wireless technologies in a tactically-relevant environment controlling, capturing, and disseminating signals intelligence (SIGINT) and full-motion video (FMV) data in an EW Services Architecture (EWSA) conformant environment using RaptorX as the command and control display platform. CTI's Phase 1 effort will consist of a demonstration of many of the capabilities specified for the SBIR as well as a clearly-defined path forward for satisfying those requirements not currently incorporated in the INVADER capability.
Benefits: Because of the current state of this product, CTI can greatly expedite the delivery timelines desired for this program. This will significantly reduce the required transition timeline and will allow for incorporation and demonstration of more capabilities than originally envisioned for this program. Due to the advanced processing capability, small form factor and portability, there will be direct application, not only to the ground based programs currently defining the requirements, but also to almost any other ground, airborne (manned and unmanned), ISR focused program in DOD, the Intelligence Community, law enforcement, and disaster relief organizations.
