| Abstract: |
With over 80 years of combined experience in simulation and engineering, the four-member Visual Performance technical team will assess the feasibility of developing an objective and efficient measurement toolkit. The proposed design will meet, if not exceed, the minimum requirements set forth in the RFP. |
| Benefits: |
The initial users of the toolkit will be NAWCTSD's SimCert engineers and in-service engineers who will use the kit for conducting validated acceptance tests for simulation training display systems. The Visual Performance team anticipates that the automated processes will provide these certification professionals a substantial time savings in addition to providing objective measures that can also aid suppliers. Moreover, we anticipate that the toolkit will gain widespread acceptance in the supplier community and in other branches of the military because of its relative low cost. |
