SBIR University Draft RFP Released [March 12, 2015]
The Office of Naval Research has released a draft Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Small Business Innovation Research University (SBIRU) program. The purpose of this program is to provide a common Federal-wide portal for potential and current Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR)/Small Technology Transfer Research (STTR) program participants to learn about the program, receive training on topics that can help them successfully complete the program, and transition (commercialize) the products into the Government and private sectors.

The DRAFT RFP is issued to allow the industry to make comments prior to the release of the final RFP. The Government reserves the unilateral right to make changes to any part of the DRAFT RFP or its attachments for the final released version. The final RFP should be released on or about March 27, 2015.
