Abstract: Sensis Corporation offers an innovative and cost-effective anti-RPG system design. The system is capable of detecting an incoming RPG and initiating a countermeasure. The countermeasure is designed to intercept the RPG, minimizing any damage caused by it, while also minimizing collateral damage from the countermeasure itself.
Benefits: The anticipated benefits from the system is force protection of US soldiers whom are traveling in light armored or armor-less vehicles particularly while engaged in peace keeping operations in urban terrain, such as in Iraq. Sensis Corporation also sees a large and valuable commercial market for this low cost, lightweight, rugged, accurate, high data rate radar to the problem of situational awareness on the airport surface and protection of high value assets.
