The measurement will be used to control ship automated paint application systems. The proposed measurement technique is robust and will allow the system to be constructed from inexpensive, off-the-shelf fiber optic components. Benefits: The benefits of the system are reduced paint and labor costs, less environmental impact, and better-controlled, more durable paint layers. Return
