| Abstract: |
The objective of the proposed work is to develop ultrasonic, non-contact, nondestructive testing technology for marine aluminum structures. Three novel approaches will be evaluated for the marine aluminum weld application. Technology selection will be based demonstrated defect sensitivity and inspection cost per linear feet of weld. |
