| Abstract: |
A semi-active damped seating technology is proposed for the EFV. This technology will adapt as the vehicle travels through different operating environments to maintain operator safety, control, and comfort. Height and weight variations of different operators will be accomodated. |

This technology will provide operator protection from vibration and shock loads. The technology will be suitable for heavy-duty applications such as armored vehicles, trucks, heavy construction and earth-moving equipment, and military vehicles. |
