In this research we propose a method for refurbishing damaged IRS&T domes building upon our past research into this topic area and in addition examining newer technologies that may offer additional benefits in terms of increased yield and overall lower program cost. |
| Benefits: |
The research covered in this proposal will save the US government approximately $20MM in costs over program lifetime. The research will also have direct commercial use for improved coating technology and advanced polishing processes. |
