Abstract: Metron proposes to design, develop test and demonstrate enhancements to Cyber Assassin to create a unified NCS model that captures all key aspects and allows for complex cybersecurity analysis. The analysis capabilities will enable assessment of the SoS architecture of the NCS model along multiple criteria as well as flexibility to assist in assessing design changes or mitigation strategies to discovered vulnerabilities.
Benefits: There are a number of potential commercial, military and government opportunities for technology that can assist the cybersecurity analysis of complex System of Systems architecture. The other services, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, can utilize this technology in order to effectively and design and deploy their systems. In order to protect government networks, this system can be utilized to identify cybersecurity risks early in the design phase to implement changes early and avoid often high cost and less effect measures after deployment. For commercial use, this technology could help companies assess their networks vulnerabilities against a variety of threats, which can assist in securing their networks and implementing material and nonmaterial solutions.
